April 25, 2016. Salt Lake City, UT (ONN) The first of America’s ‘big five’ political parties has finalized its 2016 Presidential ticket. At its national convention last week in Salt Lake City, the Constitution Party announced the nomination of Darrell Castle for President and Scott Bradley for Vice President. Unlike 2012 where the Party chose Republican former Congressman Virgil Goode as its nominee, this time the Constitution Party selected a well known and longtime Party member.
January 28, 2016. Salt Lake City, UT. (ONN) Media outlets publish Presidential polls all the time, but only for the two establishment political parties. That’s why the latest poll is so special - it surveys the support of each of the 12 Libertarian Party Presidential candidates. While the poll is non-scientific, it should be fairly accurate since it is hosted on Facebook in a group strictly for Libertarian Party voters. So far, 2012 nominee Gary Johnson has a commanding lead in the race for the 2016 Libertarian nomination.
July 16, 2015. Salt Lake City, UT. (ONN) According to social media traffic statistics provided by Facebook, the Veterans Party of America is not only the fastest growing political party in the US, it’s also the most active, at least on social media. And while Facebook metrics don’t win elections, another VPA milestone suggests the growth and popularity is very real. The Veterans Party, after only 16 months in existence, has just opened its 50th state affiliate. The VPA now has an official chapter in every state in the nation.
January 29, 2015. Salt Lake City, UT. (ONN) Somebody must have lit a fire under the Independent American Party because we haven’t written about them in a long time and suddenly, we have two reasons to write about the IAP. First, the Party tabulated its registered voters in Utah and it shows the IAP on par with the Libertarians and larger than the Constitution Party. Second, a Party announcement yesterday shows IAP leaders have retooled their strategy and have found a new energy to carry it out.
