May 19, 2016. Harrisburg, PA (ONN) The Libertarian Party is currently seeking petition circulators in a handful of states where the ballot access requirements are nearly impossible. For example, in one of the states, Republicans and Democrats need to submit only a few hundred valid signatures to have their candidates appear on the November ballot. By comparison, Libertarians, Greens, independents and other opposition parties must submit over 40,000 signatures. The LP is paying up to $3 per signature.
November 22, 2015. Montoursville, PA. (ONN) Last week, we happily reported that 45 Libertarians and Greens won their elections during the 2015 General Election held earlier this month. But there was another winner we can proudly congratulate. The Veterans Party of Pennsylvania saw one of their candidates, Katie Lakes, win her race for Montoursville City Tax Collector. Now, the Veterans Party of America is readying their ever-growing list of candidates for the 2016 General Election.

(ONN) While we rarely report on either of the two establishment political parties, we at Opposition News can’t help but revel at the revolution independent Senator Bernie Sanders is causing within the Democratic Party. Government employees may control the Party, but unions control the government employees. And many of those unions are bolting from the Democratic establishment and supporting an independent outsider - Bernie Sanders.
July 6, 2015. Lancaster, PA. (ONN) The Constitution Party’s 2012 Presidential candidate, former Congressman Virgil Goode, had ballot access in 26 states with official write-in status in 16 more. While most opposition political parties would love to be able to say that, the Constitution Party is determined to increase its membership and increase its ballot access in time for the 2016 Election. To accomplish that goal, they’ve launched the Voter ’16 Campaign and it’s already underway.
