July 6, 2014. Columbus, OH. (ONN) The Libertarian Party had an extremely busy June. Not only did they physically move their national office, but the party held its 2014 National Convention in Columbus, Ohio during the final week of the month. At the meeting of party faithful, new leadership was elected to the LP National Committee. And the Libertarians have managed to combine youth and energy with experience and success.
June 26, 2014. Rushsylvania, OH. It’s going to be a knockdown dragout fight for Ohio’s 83rd District State Representative race. So far, there are at least four candidates, including two conservative Republicans, one Democratic lawyer, and one libertarian-Constitutionalist in the form of Gregg Norris - husband, father, citizen-candidate, and the nominee of the Libertarian Party. Fortunately, Gregg’s a decent guy and non-politician, because the professional candidates in this race have gotten ugly already.
May 22, 2014. Toledo, OH. Whether they’re teaming up with fellow Green Parties in Europe against the TTIP trade treaty, fighting fracking in the US, or battling to secure free and fair elections for their local candidates in battleground states like Ohio - the Green Party is energized and fighting strong. With their 30th anniversary and national convention coming up this summer, the party’s efforts should only gain momentum.
March 22, 2014. Columbus, OH. The 2014 Libertarian Party National Convention will be taking place June 26-29, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio. The large and spacious Hyatt Regency Hotel has been booked for the annual event. So convention organizers invite all those interested in attending to come and join in the excitement. Speakers will include the party’s 2012 Presidential ticket of Gary Johnson and Judge Gray.
