Working Families Party turns Issues into Results

November 25, 2015. Hartford, CT. (ONN) The Working Families Party doesn’t hesitate to enlist the old strategy of flooding another Party’s candidate with WFP support and votes. In most cases, there simply were no Working Families candidates on the ballot and the Party swung the election by openly supporting a progressive Democrat over a conservative Republican. The tactic works, and it allows the WFP to declare victory and find a place on the playing field. It doesn’t hurt that the Party is on the popular side of two of today’s major issues.

June 21, 2014. Hartford, CT. What do you do with a mentally ill 16-year-old transgender child who’s spent her entire life being abused and molested under the authority of the state? If you’re the progressive Democratic Party super-majority of Connecticut, you hide the minor in an adult state prison for two months without charge or conviction, in solitary confinement no less. The Party for Socialism and Liberation wasn’t going to stand for it. And yesterday, they got some results.
